Project: Concept and realization of interior of a primary school

The town of Říčany is building their own school, probably the only brand new school in the whole republic, certainly also in terms of size. We won the tender because of our colorful, playful idea, which above all must be indestructable because it is, after all, a primary school… We used large, coloured graphic letters and numerals on the floor and walls surface. Each classroom is a different colour and has a different model. The models are carved in heavy- duty PVC and have to survive absolutely anything.

 

We worked on a furniture plan, lighting lay-out, the set up of the classrooms, the interior of a public nursery, the main entrance: We actually paid a lot of attention to the main entrance of the school because the first impression is always the strongest and will last in the memory of everyone who passes through it - pupils, parents, teachers.

 

We really wanted the school to be fun!.
